Due to a tropical storm moving into Florida and the forecast of 80% chance of rain and strong winds, tonight's Hate has no place in Broward rally has been cancelled.

Join us for a Twitter storm this weekend to #DefundHateFL

More details coming soon.

Immigrant families are under an all-out assault. The Trump administration, with its ICE and CBP henchmen, has caged children and families at the border, refused them access to basic necessities like showers and toothbrushes, and has launched raids to rip people away from the homes where they've lived for years or decades.

We know the Trump administration is fueled by racism, hatred, and cruelty.  Even more shocking is that Congress continues to fund these unpopular and harmful policies.

We elected a Democratic majority in the House on the promise they would use the Power of the Purse to resist Trump’s agenda. On September 9th, the budget fight begins, as Congress debates must-pass bills to fund the government.

This is the time for our South Florida Members of Congress: Debbie Wasserman Shultz, Ted Deutch, Alcee Hastings, Mario Diaz Balart, Donna Shalala, Lois Frankel, and Frederica Wilson to use their power. And we want them to #DefundHate.

As members of the South Florida Resistance Coalition, we stand with immigrant families to focus our collective power on defunding hate - restricting any money that the Trump administration might use to harm immigrants.
