The League of Women Voters connected with Marc Clinch, Chief Facilities Officer for Osceola County Public Schools. He has a fascinating presentation on high performance school buildings he is happy to share. Much of the way they achieved the first net zero school building was belt and suspenders ways to make the buildings airtight, then reduce the size of HVAC needed.
